- 1 box (15.25 oz / 432 g) yellow cake mix

- ½ cup (1 stick / 113 g) unsalted butter, melted

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Step 2Lightly grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
Step 3Spread strawberry pie filling evenly in the dish.
Step 4Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the filling.
Do not stir.
Step 5Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
Step 6Bake 40–45 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
Step 7Cool 10–15 minutes before serving.
Step 8Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream if desired.
Notes
For best results:
- Use pie filling, not jam.
- Do not mix the layers.
- Cover as much cake mix as possible with butter.
- If dry spots appear during baking, lightly spray them with cooking spray.
- Allow resting time before serving.
