Scale

Main Ingredients

1 package (13–15 oz / 370–425 g) maple sandwich cookies, finely crushed

¾ cup (180 ml) sweetened condensed milk

Optional Flavor Enhancers

1 tsp maple extract

¼ tsp ground cinnamon

Optional Toppings

Powdered sugar

Maple glaze

Chopped pecans

Flaky sea salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place maple sandwich cookies into a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form.
  • Reserve 2–3 tablespoons of crumbs for adjusting dough consistency.
  • Add crumbs to a large bowl.
  • Pour in sweetened condensed milk.
  • Add maple extract and cinnamon if using.
  • Mix until a thick dough forms.
  • If dough feels sticky, add reserved crumbs one tablespoon at a time.
  • Scoop 1½ tablespoon portions onto prepared baking sheet.
  • Space cookies about 2 inches apart.
  • Lightly flatten each cookie using the back of a spoon.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set.
  • Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes.
  • Transfer to a wire rack and cool completely.
  • Add toppings if desired.

Notes

Different cookie brands absorb moisture differently. Keep extra crushed cookies available to adjust dough consistency.

For bakery-style cookies, add 2 tablespoons melted butter.

Do not overbake. Cookies continue firming up during cooling.

Allow cookies to cool completely before glazing.

Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
