These Three-Ingredient Brownies are incredibly rich, fudgy, and easy to make using just chocolate hazelnut spread, eggs, and flour. Optional additions like vanilla, salt, and chocolate chips create an even deeper chocolate flavor and a shiny bakery-style crust. Perfect for beginners and ready in about 30 minutes.

  • Total Time: 32 minutes
  • Yield: 16 brownies

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy chocolate hazelnut spread (Nutella or similar)
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour (spooned and leveled)

Recommended

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp fine salt

Optional

  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • flaky sea salt
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

1. Prepare the Oven

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease an 8×8-inch square baking pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.

2. Mix Wet Ingredients

Add chocolate hazelnut spread to a large bowl.

Whisk in the eggs until completely smooth and glossy.

Mix in vanilla if using.

3. Add Dry Ingredients

Sift flour over the batter.

Add salt.

Fold gently until no dry flour remains.

Do not overmix.

4. Add Mix-ins

Fold in chocolate chips or chopped nuts if desired.

5. Bake

Spread batter evenly into prepared pan.

Bake for 20–25 minutes.

The edges should be set while the center remains slightly soft.

A toothpick inserted near the center should have moist crumbs.

6. Cool

Allow brownies to cool completely inside the pan.

Lift out using parchment paper.

Slice into squares.

Serve.
