  • 200g shredded kataifi pastry

  • 150g mild cream cheese or sweet cheese (drained)

  • 100g roasted pistachios, chopped

  • 200g dark or milk chocolate, melted

  • 3 tbsp butter or ghee

  • 3 tbsp sugar syrup (water + sugar + rose/orange blossom optional)

  • White chocolate drizzle + crushed pistachios (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Roast pistachios until fragrant, let cool, chop.

  • Toast shredded pastry with butter until golden.

  • Mix cheese with pistachios.

  • Pour a chocolate base layer into a mold, chill.

  • Add pistachio-cream mix + crispy pastry.

  • Cover with chocolate top layer.

  • Chill until firm, cut into bars.

  • Garnish with white chocolate drizzle + pistachios.

Notes

  • Drain cheese well to avoid sogginess.

  • Use dark chocolate for lower sugar.
