Ingredients
200g shredded kataifi pastry
150g mild cream cheese or sweet cheese (drained)
100g roasted pistachios, chopped
200g dark or milk chocolate, melted
3 tbsp butter or ghee
3 tbsp sugar syrup (water + sugar + rose/orange blossom optional)
White chocolate drizzle + crushed pistachios (for garnish)
Instructions
Roast pistachios until fragrant, let cool, chop.
Toast shredded pastry with butter until golden.
Mix cheese with pistachios.
Pour a chocolate base layer into a mold, chill.
Add pistachio-cream mix + crispy pastry.
Cover with chocolate top layer.
Chill until firm, cut into bars.
Garnish with white chocolate drizzle + pistachios.
Notes
Drain cheese well to avoid sogginess.
Use dark chocolate for lower sugar.
Store in fridge, airtight.
