Ingredients

  • 500 g ribeye or sirloin steak, thinly sliced

  • 2 onions, sliced

  • 2 bell peppers, sliced

  • 2 cups provolone or mozzarella, shredded

  • 4 cups bread cubes, parboiled potatoes, or pasta

  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 tbsp oil or butter

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Slice steak thin (freeze for 20 mins for easier cuts).

  • Season with salt and pepper, rest 10 mins.

  • Sauté onions and peppers until golden.

  • Quick-sear steak on high heat.

  • Layer base (bread, pasta, or potatoes) in a dish.

  • Add veggies, beef, and half the cheese.

  • Pour Worcestershire sauce and top with remaining cheese.

  • Bake 25–30 mins until bubbly. Broil 2 mins for golden top.

  • Rest 5–10 mins before serving.
