Ingredients
500 g ribeye or sirloin steak, thinly sliced
2 onions, sliced
2 bell peppers, sliced
2 cups provolone or mozzarella, shredded
4 cups bread cubes, parboiled potatoes, or pasta
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp oil or butter
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Slice steak thin (freeze for 20 mins for easier cuts).
Season with salt and pepper, rest 10 mins.
Sauté onions and peppers until golden.
Quick-sear steak on high heat.
Layer base (bread, pasta, or potatoes) in a dish.
Add veggies, beef, and half the cheese.
Pour Worcestershire sauce and top with remaining cheese.
Bake 25–30 mins until bubbly. Broil 2 mins for golden top.
Rest 5–10 mins before serving.
Notes
Freeze up to 2 months (cool first, wrap tightly).
Try mushrooms, jalapeños, or spinach for variations.
Use provolone + mozzarella for best melt.
